Sarah Polley (born in January 8, 1979, in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress and director of short films. She has starred within the total of films, including Atom Egoyan's The Sweet Hereafter. Her mother, the American actress known as Diane Polley, died of cancer while Sarah was an stripling.

Her 1st cinematic appearance was at a age of Four, around the role of Mollie in Disney's film One Magic Christmas.
